Heavy Rolls workshop
This workshop is capable of machining of all rolls and parts up to 35 tons by exploiting of milling machines, Gantry milling machines, Boring machines and various types of lathe machines.
Machining of rolls up to 2000 mm in diameter and maximum length of 7000 mm with tolerance of below 0.01 mm is one of the great features of this unit.
One more feature of this unit is utilizing of CNC lathe manufactured by Herkules Ltd. Capable of performing various machining sequences from early stages of cutting and roughing to finishing and finally grinding at just one position by exploiting of simultaneously two supports. Rolls are being grinded in this unit to reach dimensional accuracy of below 0.01 mm and roughness of 0.2 mm (Ra). Gantry milling machine in this unit can easily process parts of 6000 mm in length with high acceptable accuracy.
