Ultra-Heavy duty Rolls workshop
This unit is capable of machining of all rolls and parts up to 200 tons, maximum 13500 mm in length, by exploiting of CNC milling machines, CNC Gantry milling machines, CNC Boring machines and various types of lathe machines.
Rolls up to 3000 mm in diameter and maximum length of 13500 mm are processed in this unit.
One of the best features of this unit is utilizing of CNC lathe manufactured by Waldrich-Siegen Ltd. Capable of performing various machining sequences from early stages of cutting and roughing to finishing and finally grinding at just one position by exploiting of simultaneously two supports.
Our Farrel grinding machine in this unit is capacity to grind rolls of 1600 mm in diameter, maximum length of 6000 mm, and max weight if 95 tons.
